Creeks of Western Brisbane

By Judith Nissen

Creeks of Western Brisbane

Brisbane City Council commissioned histories of European activities within the catchments of Moggill and Cubberla Creeks, taking in the suburbs of Indooroopilly, Chapel Hill, Kenmore, Kenmore Hills, Fig Tree Pocket, Brookfield, Upper Brookfield, Mt Coot-tha, Pullenvale and Pinjarra Hills. Activities included timber getting and milling, grazing, agriculture, mining and dredging as well as urban development, recreational activities, water supply and drainage. The histories were included in booklets published in 1999.
